Why it stays on your machine

Stays in the browser

83 of the 90 tools are plain JavaScript that runs in the tab you already have open. There is no API to send your input to, because there is no backend.

Stored on this device only

Pinned tools, open tabs and run history live in this browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes all of it, and nothing syncs anywhere.

Shareable without uploading

A share link encodes the input in the URL fragment. Browsers never send fragments to the server, so the link works without the data ever leaving the two machines.

The exceptions are the seven network tools, which cannot answer without making a request. DNS Lookup, SSL Checker, What Is My IP, SVG Extractor, API Tester, Request Tester, Socket Client. Each one says on its own page exactly what it sends and where.
