SSL Checker
Check SSL certificates
SSL Checker: Check SSL certificates. A free browser-based tool from DevToolbox, with no account and no tracking. It is one of the seven that has to use the network: it sends the hostname you check to corsproxy.io and then api.ssllabs.com, the Qualys SSL Labs service.
About the SSL Checker
Free online SSL certificate checker. Check SSL/TLS certificate details, security grade, and expiry date for any domain. It is one of the seven DevToolbox tools that has to use the network to do its job. The rest compute entirely in your browser.
Unlike most of the site, this tool cannot answer without asking something else: it sends the hostname you check to corsproxy.io and then api.ssllabs.com, the Qualys SSL Labs service. The request goes straight from your machine. DevToolbox has no server in the path and keeps no copy.

Questions
- Does this one send anything over the network?
- Yes, and it has to. SSL Checker cannot answer without making a request, so it sends the hostname you check to corsproxy.io and then api.ssllabs.com, the Qualys SSL Labs service. Nothing else about your session goes with it, and no copy is kept here, because DevToolbox still has no backend.
- Is it free, and do I need an account?
- It is free and there is no account, no sign-in and no usage limit. There is nothing to register because there is no server keeping track of anything.
